Why do I need a Curriculum Grid?
You are about to begin your journey towards your MSW (Master of Social Work). In order to fulfill all degree requirements towards your required credits, you will need to register correctly for your required courses every semester you are in the program. Your curriculum grid lets you know how you will get to your MSW. They are designed to guide your course registration every semester and ensure your successful completion of the MSW program.
Which Curriculum Grid do I follow?
Your pathway and method is indicated in your acceptance letter. Please identify your curriculum grid correctly by carefully reviewing and selecting your specific Program Pathway and your Method. If you are unsure of your program and method, please refer to your acceptance letter. Please note, your curriculum grid is your roadmap for your course registration for every semester in the program. Your course sequences, concurrent courses and number of credits per semester are carefully designed to enhance your learning and financial support.
Please remember: sticking to your grid saves you money! If you’re a full-time in-state student, taking 15 credits costs the same as taking 12, so you’re getting one class free. Please reach out to an Academic Advisor if you have further questions.
