Academic Advisors are available to assist you with an array of issues as you proceed through the MSW program. You may email advisors to make a specific appointment. Due to the fluid nature of current student and staff schedules, Advisors have hybrid schedules and are available to support you both in-person and in a remote capacity. You are welcome to stop by the 3rd floor Advising offices if you are in the building for walk-in appointments. Otherwise, if you’d like specific information about in-person or remote hours, please reach out by email. Please note, Academic Advisor are not assigned at Silberman and it is the student who will initiate outreach. You are welcome to reach out to any Advisor at any time via email.

Please make a plan to check in with an advisor prior to finalizing registration for each semester. Advisors will support students in tracking required course completion, choosing a Field of Practice, completing Degree Audit Application forms, as well as connecting students to the many resources offered via Silberman and at the Hunter Main Campus at 68th Street.
